As a form of genetic connection through the air, anemophily enables the wind to carry pollen over great distances. In this way, individuals separated from one another exchange genes, and genetic diversity is maintained. Indeed, by transporting pollen, particles, and other substances, air is a material medium that circulates between bodies and actively participates in their transformation. Starting from the premise that what we breathe challenges the limits of the self within the toxic world we inhabit, Anemofilia sketches a shared atmosphere of hybrid beings distributed throughout space. This series of strange affinities and nomadic identities is accompanied by a text that will grow throughout the exhibition, much like someone exhaling thoughts from a love letter.
