We invited Jesse Darling to write a poem for the exhibition, and his proposal was to grow a word in the earth. Among the other plants surrounding Kunstraum Bethanien Kreuzberg, an asemic word will grow over the course of the exhibition, nurtured by seeds of purple deadnettle and chickweed. You may come across it this winter—or perhaps much later. The weeds will tell.
