Performative reading by Lucila Pacheco Dehne (in German)in collaboration with alpha nova & galerie futura

Place:  alpha nova & galerie futura, Am Flutgraben 3, 12435 Berlin
Time: 29/01/2026, 7 pm.

Tea For Thousands (A Manifesto For Weeds)
is a performative reading in which the stories of different weeds come together. A narrative written as a manifesto recalls the plants that were historically banned because they were used for contraception and abortion, reflecting on the plants that humans discarded as weeds, despite their healing powers. As we  look ahead to the future, we consider the extent to which these plants could create  new systems in which they, and other living beings, could autonomously make decisions for themselves and their own rights.

Collective outdoor action by Daniela Medina-Poch, FLINTA waters and weeds (in English)

Place: Entrance to Kunstraum Kreuzberg/Bethanien
Time: 11/8/2025 at 16:27 pm.

Peeing in public space and the life of weeds are closer than you might think. To find out, we invite you to relax, release, and make yourself at home alongside bushes and weeds. Together, we may answer the following questions and formulate new ones: How can the feral qualities of weeds inspire our bodies? What is the sonic composition of our pee? Can we form a collective stream of water? shuuuuusuuuuishui

One afternoon in November, we gathered in an exhibition space to drink, to tell each other stories about peeing in public, to go outside and pee together among many weeds, and then to drink again, this time in a bar. In this audio piece, the waters from that event flow between stories told afterwards by some who attended and others who wanted to attend but could not. With partial anonymity, those who recognize the voices will be able to identify the authors of the stories.

In Of Roses [how to embody the layers of time] (CAN 2021, 65 Min.), Tagny traces the colonial history of rose cultivation, showing how this emblem of beauty was shaped by imperial trade, botanical displacement, and extractive gardening practices.
